Making plans versus cultivating opportunities

It’s good to have a plan, as it can guide you towards your aim, give you a sense of progress and growth.


However, when you hold on too tightly to it, you risk missing out on all the little things that you don’t pay attention to.


Those are the opportunities happening around us and to us that we don’t label as opportunities because we don’t see them as such. We can become too fixated on our own paths and everything else simply gets in the way.


Why is this happening? Well, simply put, it is a long way if you don’t know where you’re going.


Business growth and personal growth are directly correlated and stimulated by the diversity around us.


Your ability to grow is directly influenced by the things you learn about, especially the cross pollination of ideas. It is not about reading one more book, it is about implementing what you know.


There is so much value in acknowledging the effort not the outcome.
